Skypace structures the commercial terms required for execution and keeps the current rate, amendment, free-time and allocation information available to planning and booking.
The contract as the booking desk reads it
The register shows each direct contract's lanes, rates, free-time terms, weekly allocation and validity, with the latest amendment in force.
The panel shows a sample register with two carriers and three lanes. Each row carries the base rate, the surcharge set, the free-time terms at origin and destination, the weekly allocation and the amendment number that last changed the row. The planning screen reads from this register, so a quotation on a direct contract uses the terms actually filed.

Ocean service contracts carry commercial commitments that remain active long after the sourcing event. The FMC states that service contracts include a shipper minimum-quantity commitment and a carrier rate or rate schedule plus a defined level of service, and that contracts and amendments are filed confidentially with the Commission. Because daily routing and booking decisions consume those terms repeatedly, the contract record has to stay current where operations uses it.
